Opel pe podium la primul Concurs de Eleganţă pentru Vehicule Istorice
Opel Super Six, locul 2 la categoria "Sedan până în 1945"
Bucureşti/Sinaia. Prima ediţie a Concursului de Eleganţă pentru Vehicule Istorice organizată sâmbătă de Retromobil a adunat în competiţie 36 de autovehicule clasice, iar alte 12 au fost doar expuse.
Modelul Opel care a urcat pe podium este produs în 1938, iar restaurarea lui a durat doi ani. Juriul a urmărit interesul istoric, tehnic şi estetic al maşinii, raritatea şi autenticitatea, eleganţa şi stilul sofisticat, dar şi gradul de originalitate, starea de conservare ş/sau calitatea restaurării. Un barem exact există pentru elemente punctuale de exterior, mecanică şi interior.
Distincţia este cu atât mai valoroasă cu cât concursul s-a desfăşurat sub Înaltul Patronaj al Majestăţii Sale Regelui Mihai I al României.
Automobilul Opel Super Six aparţine domnului Virorel Burcea, care este şi restauratorul maşinii.
Alături de el, Opel a mai avut în competiţie un superb Commodore Coupe A GS din 1969, o vedetă a curselor de profil alături de proprietarul şi pilotul său, Cristian Stoian.
